We have an outstanding opportunity to work in a beautiful work environment at Fall Creek Falls State Park Lodge in Spencer, TN. Fall Creek Falls is a preferred destination for meetings and conferences, as well as for families throughout the United States seeking vacation and camping. This maintenance role offers the chance to work in a beautiful natural setting while contributing to the care and enhancement of our park's lodges and cabins. The position includes both supervising maintenance activities and performing hands-on work to ensure our facilities remain safe, welcoming, and well maintained for all who visit. The ideal candidate will have the ability to repair a variety of small and large machinery; a working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repair experience; and the ability to complete a variety of maintenance projects, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, masonry, grounds upkeep, and general mechanical repairs. Candidates must possess experience equivalent to four years of full-time increasingly responsible and skilled full-time labor and trades work including, at least two years in building maintenance work.

Highlighted Responsibilities:

Lead, manage and direct daily maintenance activities. Maintain Lodge room accommodations, cabin accommodations, restaurant facilities, and common areas to ensure they meet guest needs. Conduct and track preventative maintenance tasks throughout the lodge and cabins. Provide supervision and direction to subordinates during general, preventative, and restorative maintenance projects. Assist with inventories of work-related supplies and materials. Review and respond to work orders in a timely manner.
