Role:
A Premier dog resort, daycare, and grooming facility in Carrollton is seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead day-to-day operations, manage a growing team, and help expand the business. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is passionate about service and team development, and has a strong background in operations and client engagement.
What You'll Do:
Supervise and support a team of 12 to 16 team members across various roles. Hire, train, coach, and retain staff with a focus on creating a positive, high-performing culture. Step in to cover shifts as needed, especially during team shortages or call-offs. Ensure daily operations run smoothly, including client services, facility standards, and pet care. Report directly to the CEO with regular updates and monthly operational reviews. Drive business development through client retention efforts, marketing support, and identifying growth opportunities. Great Fit If You:
Have 5+ years of experience in a leadership role in pet care, hospitality, or service-based businesses. Are comfortable managing schedules, supervising and positively coaching diverse personalities, and holding team members accountable. Have strong customer service instincts and enjoy creating positive experiences for both people and pets. Are self-motivated, highly organized, and willing to jump into any task that needs doing. Have prior experience with sales, client retention, and growing a service-based business. Are proficient in Google Drive/Google Suite and preferably familiar with Atlantis or similar pet-care software.
