In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily front desk activities, manage guest relations, and ensure smooth hotel operations. Your leadership will foster a welcoming environment, uphold high standards of customer service, and coordinate with various departments to meet guest needs efficiently. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all front desk functions, including check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, and guest inquiries. Lead the team in delivering outstanding customer service by maintaining high standards of hospitality and phone etiquette. Manage hotel reservation systems such as OPERA or similar Property Management Systems (PMS) to ensure accurate booking and guest data management. Handle guest complaints and resolve service issues promptly through effective customer service problem-solving skills. Oversee night audit processes, ensuring financial accuracy and reporting compliance for overnight operations. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel emergency procedures to ensure safety and swift response in case of incidents. Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled efficiently and hotel standards are upheld. Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management, particularly in front desk or hotel management roles. Strong knowledge of hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or comparable PMS platforms. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, night audit processes, and guest relations best practices. Exceptional phone communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment. Resort experience or working within a luxury hotel setting is a plus.
