water, we're also committed to bringing clean water to one million people in Africa. MEP Manager Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a MEP Manager . In this role, you'll be responsible for the daily facilities maintenance operations, training and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives for resort and convention center maintenance, repairs, costs, guest satisfaction and safety. Assist in maintaining operation and physical appearance of the resort to assure the comfort of guests and quality working conditions for associates. In the absence of the Director, assume the administrative, financial, and operating aspects of the resort for the Facilities Department. As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love —guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll assist in maintaining operation and physical appearance of the resort, assuring the comfort of guests and quality of working conditions for associates. The anticipated hire date for this position is late Summer 2026. Key Responsibilities Support the Facilities Director in managing the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) team by assisting with staffing, training, scheduling, inventory management, and regulatory compliance. Ensure high safety standards, preventative maintenance, and a clean, functional resort environment that meets all state, local, and federal requirements. Promote positive guest experience by upholding Kalahari's service standards, fostering effective interdepartmental communication, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and contributing to company goals through leadership, staff development, and active participation in meetings and resort operations. What We're Looking For Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, building, and all facility maintenance and management. 2-3 years in a leadership or management role, preferably in a hospitality or resort environment , with the ability to work with and lead other highly skilled technicians, guiding them through HVAC equipment troubleshooting and challenges, as well as responding after hours to emergency events. Hands-on experience with preventative maintenance programs, safety compliance, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, local building codes, energy regulations, and requirements). Must be able to develop and maintain strong partnerships with HVAC suppliers and service vendors in order to maintain and operate HVAC equipment at a premium standard. Familiarity with resort or large facility operations, including working with cross-functional teams like housekeeping, food and beverage, and front desk. Must be able to frequently work in outdoor extreme weather conditions as well as indoor warm/humid environments.
