Job Description

Kitchen Supervisor Green Mountain Suites Hotel is seeking a dependable, hands-on Kitchen Supervisor to help lead our food and beverage operation. This role combines preparing and serving our hotel breakfast buffet, coordinating staff schedules, placing orders, and hosting our evening hotel reception. Demonstrated reliability is essential. We are looking for someone with a proven history of reliability, following through on responsibilities, and being ready to support their team and our guests. What you'll do Prepare and cook food for the hotel breakfast buffet, maintaining quality, presentation, and timely service. Oversee breakfast setup, replenishment, and cleanup. Create and coordinate staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage. Monitor inventory and place food and supply orders. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and follow food safety and sanitation practices. Provide friendly, attentive service to hotel guests. Staff the hotel's evening reception three nights per week, including preparation, service, and cleanup. Schedule requirements Early-morning availability and willingness to work weekends are required. We also seek someone available to work late afternoons for our evening reception three nights per week. This is a hands-on hospitality role with responsibilities across both breakfast and evening service. What we're looking for A demonstrated record of reliable attendance and punctuality. Previous cooking or food service experience, ideally with supervisory responsibilities. Strong organization and the ability to manage food preparation, scheduling, and ordering. A team-oriented approach and a welcoming manner with guests. The ability to work independently and take ownership of daily responsibilities.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
