What You'll Do:

Work alongside the GM and AGM to keep the hotel in top shape for guests and staff Develop your team and improve their performance through coaching and feedback, create performance and development goals for colleagues, and recognize good performance. Perform routine maintenance across guest rooms, common areas, pool, restaurant, and exterior grounds, ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests, team members, and hotel assets in compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry issues Maintain good working relations with outside contacts Monitor and maintain pool/spa chemicals (CPO certification preferred - but we'll train you!) Help with seasonal upkeep (snow removal, landscaping, etc.) Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance areas Comply with federal, state, and local laws regarding health, safety, and alcohol services Maintain a focus and commitment to operating a "green" hotel Perform other duties as assigned, including pulling together on hotel event projects. May also serve as manager on duty. Complete and submit all daily, monthly, and other required checklists.

What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and basic construction Experience using hand tools and troubleshooting systems Excels in effective and positive communication Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and climbing Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed A self-starter who works well independently and with a team CPO certification is a plus (but not required—we'll train you!)
