Oversee operations of the Front Office area, including training, monitoring, motivation and evaluating guest service representatives, breakfast and social serving staff, and bell staff, resulting in loyal customers, high quality service, and demonstrated professionalism.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading the staff to provide excellent service by training, monitoring, motivating, evaluating and correcting. Creating an atmosphere with great morale while holding staff accountable. Oversee financial aspects such as guest billing, cost controls, and labor control over the Front Office Department. Work with other managers and staff to assure a teamwork environment is consistently adhered to for excellent guest service. Serve as Manager on Duty, at times overseeing all departments, handling and responding to guest complaints. Cover shifts to assure financial goals are met; this may include holidays and weekends. Ensure compliance with local ordinances to provide a safe & secure environment. Control the PMS system, upgrades, and configurations. Uphold the standards and policies of the company and Franchise. Implement new policies or procedures when necessary. A focus on building sales through gathering information, identifying selling opportunities, and up-selling room types, packages, and outlets. Maintain effective communications within and between departments to ensure proper servicing of guests expectations. Prepare all required paperwork and documentation as required by General Manager and corporate office. Communicate HR policies and procedures. Assist General Manager with HR related employee interactions, which include employee coaching, behavior modifications and discipline. Deliver performance evaluations, set performance goals and monitor progress of direct reports and banquet team. Monitor and control productivity and payroll on a daily basis to ensure budgets and goals are consistently achieved. Provide labor forecasts and continually monitor labor performance. Prepare weekly departmental schedules. Attend and actively participate in weekly operational meetings working with the team to find efficiencies and plan for the logistics of upcoming events. Monitor, order and maintain departmental equipment requirements including facilitating inventories.
