Part-time Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor to support our housekeeping management team. In this role, you will oversee daily cleaning operations, manage and train frontline staff, and perform meticulous room and public area inspections. Your primary goal will be to maintain impeccable cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards while ensuring excellent guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Supervision:

Assign daily cleaning tasks, monitor attendance, and provide on-the-job training and coaching to housekeeping staff.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct detailed inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and common areas to ensure compliance with company cleanliness standards.

Inventory Control:

Monitor and manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and linens, reporting shortages to management.

Maintenance Coordination:

Identify and report maintenance issues, physical defects, or safety hazards promptly.

Guest Service:

Address and resolve guest complaints regarding room conditions or special requests quickly and professionally.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in housekeeping or environmental services, with previous supervisory experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent time-management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Physical stamina to walk, stand, and inspect properties throughout a full shift.
