Purpose of Position:

To ensure that a well-trained staff provides clean rooms for the guests.

Essential Functions:

1. Train the procedures and techniques required for room cleaning, laundry, breakfast, and lead housekeeper duties. 2. Provide clean rooms for guests. 3. Demonstrate good communication skills. 4. Perform basic math. 5. Assist in taking inventory and orders all supplies for use by the staff to complete their jobs. 6. Implement all company policies and procedures for safety and security. 7. Assist in the selection, discipline, and discharge of employees. 8. Inspect the housekeeping staff daily, to determine if they are on duty and check the quantity and quality of their work. 9. Supervise all housekeeping employees. 10. Maintain operations of laundry and equipment. 11. Ensure that all maintenance is done on a timely basis. 12. Report all liability and employee injury cases. 13. Schedule employees and assign days off. Conduct daily staff meetings, assign room attendants to their regular duties or any special assignments. 14. Maintain adequate supplies in all stockrooms. 15. Maintain lost and found items. 16. Balance housekeeping reports at the end of the day, and resolve any discrepancies with the front desk. 17. Oversee general cleaning of public areas. 18. Oversee and assist with the quarterly and fall cleaning duties. 19. Display complete knowledge of laundry and room cleaning procedures. 20. Assist in cleaning guestrooms. 21. Other duties as assigned by the manager. Mandatory Job Requirements 1. Neat, well-groomed appearance. 2. Eye for detail, and good organizational skills. 3. Must have a flexible schedule to include weekends and evenings. 4. Good communication skills. 5. Pleasant personality and excellent people skills. 6. Must have thorough understanding of all shift duties. Accountability 1. Shoppers and inspection scores within acceptable range. 2. Keep productivity within set guidelines. 3. Follow all state and federal guidelines including OSHA Hazardous Communication Training (Ledgestone implemented Group Policy). 4. Maintain high level of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

Pay:

$48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
