The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, families, and staff. Position Summary The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring that resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other facility areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, train, schedule, and support housekeeping staff.
  • Assign daily duties and ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Inspect resident rooms and facility areas to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
  • Ensure proper cleaning procedures and infection-control practices are followed.
  • Maintain adequate housekeeping supplies and monitor inventory.
  • Train employees on proper use of cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures.
  • Address performance concerns and provide coaching when needed.
  • Assist with hiring and onboarding new housekeeping employees.
  • Maintain accurate cleaning schedules, inspection records, and other required documentation.
  • Respond promptly to housekeeping concerns from residents, families, and staff.
  • Work closely with nursing, maintenance, and administration to maintain a safe and pleasant environment.
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, state and federal regulations, and applicable healthcare standards.
  • Perform housekeeping duties as needed and lead by example. Qualifications
  • Previous housekeeping experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Healthcare, skilled nursing, assisted living, or long-term care experience is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to train, motivate, and hold staff accountable.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
  • Reliable attendance and a professional attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.
