  • Job Summary:
  • The Rooms Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall quality of guest rooms and public areas in a hotel or resort. They will inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and proper amenities setup to meet the standards set by the establishment.
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certification or training in hospitality management is a plus Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field, preferably in a hotel setting Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively with team members and report findings accurately Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation guidelines, and safety standards Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and prolonged standing •
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness, order, and compliance with established standards Identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, and other concerns and report them to the appropriate department for prompt resolution Monitor housekeeping staff to ensure they are following correct procedures and maintaining a high level of cleanliness in all areas Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to prioritize and address identified issues Assist in training new housekeeping staff on cleanliness standards, procedures, and protocols Document inspection findings and maintain accurate records for reference and follow-up purposes Provide feedback and guidance to housekeeping staff to improve performance and maintain quality standards throughout the property •
