Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of cleaning, property upkeep, and guest satisfaction within our hospitality environment. Your leadership will ensure that every space reflects the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and safety, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage housekeeping operations in a 98 room hotel, inspire your team, and uphold the reputation of our establishment through exceptional housekeeping management. This role will work hand in hand with our executive housekeeper, assistant general manager and general manager. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks across all guest areas and public spaces Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service excellence Develop work schedules, assign tasks efficiently, and monitor performance to ensure timely completion of duties Oversee inventory management for cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment to optimize resources and reduce waste Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with safety and brand quality standards Implement and enforce health and safety protocols related to cleaning procedures and equipment handling Collaborate with other departments to address guest requests promptly and resolve any issues related to housekeeping services Operate as a room attendant on days where supervisor work is fulfilled by executive housekeeper. Fill in for roles under the housekeeping department where necessary, this includes the laundry and housemen departments. Qualifications Proven supervising experience in housekeeping within a hotel setting Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively Extensive knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment Experience in laundry operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in linens and textiles Familiarity with hospitality industry standards, including housekeeper management practices Demonstrated leadership abilities combined with excellent organizational skills Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and workplace safety protocols Join us in delivering outstanding hospitality experiences by ensuring every corner shines!
