Responsibilities:

Oversees and ensures overall cleanliness of the hotel in accordance with Department of Health, Hotel and Corporate standards. Ensures all safety procedures are followed. Follows all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve all standards of operation. Ensures prompt and courteous service to guests to ensure that all guest experiences are exceptional. Coordinating housekeeping needs with other hotel department managers. Performing cleaning tasks when staff don't show up for work or the team is shorthanded. Actively participate in the key management issues in the property (Capital projects, refurbishment, training, customer service) Conduct routine inspections of all areas of the hotel. Ensure that all labor costs are flexed according to levels of demand/ activity/season and that opportunities for a better balance between quality and cost through clustering or outsourcing or both are explored fully Review performance on a regular and consistent basis Offer coaching and guidance when appropriate To ensure the employees within Operations are well managed with clear objectives and well trained and that they are deployed in the most productive way. Plans, organizes and monitors staff activities to ensure compliance with quality standards set by hotel which requires continuous visual inspection of guest rooms and public space areas including food and beverage outlets, meeting rooms and offices Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent, required. Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience in a hotel or a related field, in similarly-sized hotels, preferred.
