We're looking for our next great team member to join our management team and lead our Housekeeping Department. Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Housekeeping Manager, where your leadership will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. In this vital role, you will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, coordinate cleaning activities, and implement efficient procedures to maintain a pristine environment. Your expertise in hotel housekeeping management will inspire your team to deliver exceptional service while adhering to safety protocols and sanitation standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting, ensuring every visitor experiences comfort and cleanliness at the highest level. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping activities, including floor cleaning, vacuuming, and sanitation procedures across the property. Manage cleaning schedules and assign tasks to housekeeping staff to ensure timely and thorough room and public area maintenance. Oversee the proper handling and use of chemical agents, cleaning equipment, and chemical handling protocols in compliance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and safety regulations. Train staff on hotel emergency procedures, safety standards, heavy lifting techniques, and proper custodial practices to promote a safe working environment. Monitor cleanliness standards through regular inspections, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and industry best practices for industrial cleaning and janitorial experience. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage and maintenance for optimal performance. Foster excellent customer service by addressing guest requests promptly and professionally while maintaining high standards of sanitation and hospitality. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial experience within hospitality and Union settings. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, chemical agent handling, sanitation practices, and industrial cleaning methods. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and other janitorial tools effectively. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, safety data sheets (SDS), and safety protocols related to chemical handling and heavy lifting. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team efficiently while promoting a positive work environment. Exceptional customer service skills with a proactive approach to guest satisfaction. Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, reaching, and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts.
