Position:

Multi-position Housekeeper/Relief Supervisor| Full Time The ideal candidate will perform both supervisory duties and provide hands-on support with daily housekeeping duties based on operational needs.

Job Summary:

The primary duties of the Housekeeping Supervisor are to provide support to the Executive Housekeeper, provide supervision and direction for all housekeeping activities of the hotel to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are maintained. The Housekeeping Supervisor will ensure staff follows Housekeeping Training Procedures and ensure staff is prepared to provide excellence to our guests and visitors at all times, while actively promoting the Company's Culture of Caring.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Address any maintenance issues promptly by reporting them to the appropriate personnel. Maintains Housekeeping department minimum standards. Assists with the hiring, training, and supervision of property housekeeping staff. Assists with the preparation of work schedule for staff and arrange for replacements in case of absences. Supervise the operation of linen, uniform, supply and storage rooms. Place linen, uniform, and supply orders as needed. Install inventory controls for uniforms, linens and supplies to be monitored by issuance procedures and purchasing. Establish and maintain adequate supplies for efficient operation of department. Assists with linen inventory and purchase ordering ensuring adequate stock levels are available. Adhere to lost and found policy and procedures. Plan, organize, and monitor staff assignments to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards set by the Hotel. Distribute staff work assignments. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction in assigning housekeeping and laundry staff in details of work. Distribute and delegate workload to guarantee maximum productivity and guest satisfaction with minimum outlay of expenses in terms of labor and materials. Monitor house count and make staffing adjustments accordingly. Assists with issuance of keys and maintain inventory and security of keys. Operate within the established labor standards. Maintain guest confidentiality. Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to Company Core Values and Mission Statement. Responsible for working in a safe and conscientious manner Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
