Job Description
Overview The Houskeeping Supervisor oversees and corrdinates daily cleaning operations, ensuring all guest rooms and general areas meet hotel cleanliness and quality standards. The Houskeeping Supervisor supports training and development of housekeepers and housemen while promoting the cleanliness and productivity goals of the houskeeping department. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across all hotel areas, ensuring timely completion of cleaning tasks. Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff in proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards. Monitor cleanliness levels in guest rooms, corridors, public spaces, and back-of-house areas through regular inspections. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment to ensure availability and proper usage. Enforce health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and equipment operation. Collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs promptly and resolve any issues related to cleanliness or maintenance. Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities, staff schedules, and supply usage for reporting purposes. Other duties as assigned Requirements Experience in housekeeping management or hospitality setting preferred. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
