Assistant Head Housekeeper

In this vital role, you will support the Head Housekeeper in managing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. Duties Assist the Head Housekeeper in overseeing the daily cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Supervise and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service while maintaining efficiency and productivity. Coordinate cleaning schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of duties. Implement and uphold cleaning protocols, including floor care, industrial cleaning procedures, and custodial standards. Conduct quality inspections to verify that cleanliness meets brand standards and safety regulations. Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper use and storage. Support training initiatives for new team members on janitorial practices, hospitality standards, and safety procedures. Qualifications Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial management is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and janitorial equipment. Experience in hospitality environments with a focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise, motivate, and develop a team. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
