Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper/Laundry Worker to join our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will ensure that all areas meet high standards of hygiene and presentation. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing items. Maintain cleanliness of floors through proper floor care techniques such as sweeping, mopping, and buffing to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal. Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas to ensure availability of essentials like toiletries, towels, and cleaning products. Follow established health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a hygienic environment. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold quality standards. Support housekeeping management in training new staff and maintaining inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens. Qualifications Must have 1-2 years of Housekeeping Supervisor experience. Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods. Prior hotel or hospitality experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for providing excellent service is essential. Strong custodial skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is advantageous but not mandatory. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving heavy items throughout the shift.
