As a vital member of our facility, our Housekeeping Director plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appeal of our rehabilitation and healthcare center. About the
Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of our housekeeping department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, prioritizing tasks, and supervising a team of housekeeping staff.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for patients, residents, and staff Supervise a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure excellent performance and customer satisfaction Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions Develop and manage budgets, ordering supplies and equipment as needed Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations, such as laundry, dietary, and environmental services Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
Requirements:
0-3+ years of experience in housekeeping or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, with frequent bending, walking, or standing
