Job Description
$17-$19 an hour pay is above national average!!! $450 sign on bonus! $150 paid at 60 days $150 paid at 90 days $150 paid at 180 days We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Housekeeping Supervisor. What will you be doing most days?
- Inspect guest rooms, meeting rooms, public spaces, and hallways for cleanliness and order
- Coordinate cleaning and maintenance schedules according to guest needs, in coordination with front desk and maintenance personnel
- Verify completion of laundry and inventory restocking
- Train and coach the housekeeping staff in specific cleaning and room placement job tasks and in completion of daily schedules. Conducts new employee training
- Support the hotel's leadership team in managing labor costs within budget standards and staffing guidelines for rooms sold
- Follow facility safety and security guidelines. Participates in property safety committee and serves as an emergency responder for the location
- Manage supply inventory and monitors storage procedures and Housekeeper / House Attendant cart arrangements. Ensures safe chemical handling and proper chemical usage procedures
- Develop work schedules and coordinates staff work assignments in conjunction with hotel General Manager or Assistant General Manager and facility staffing guidelines
- Conduct regular tours of work areas, reviewing housekeeping efforts of staff and checking for productivity in completion of assignments. Performs or assists with cleaning duties as necessary
- Assist the General Manager in team member selection process and provides input for associate performance reviews
- Ensure that facility complies with brand quality performance standards
- Maintain effective guest relationships and ensure staff compliance with professional dress and grooming standards What are the requirements for this position?
