A premier residential and healthcare community in Sarasota is seeking an experienced Director of Environmental Services to lead housekeeping, laundry, sanitation, and environmental services operations.

Schedule:

Primarily Monday-Friday; occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency response may be required Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and environmental services teams. Establish and maintain high standards for cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and service. Manage staffing, scheduling, training, performance, and department development. Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare, AHCA, CMS, OSHA, and infection prevention standards. Oversee departmental budgets, purchasing, supplies, equipment, and operational expenses. Conduct inspections, audits, and quality improvement initiatives. Partner with Nursing, Facilities, Human Resources, and other departments to support overall operations. Promote a professional, service-focused culture and exceptional resident experience. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 5+ years of progressive leadership experience , including at least 1 year at the Director level. Experience in environmental services, housekeeping, hospitality, senior living, healthcare, or a related field. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience managing teams, budgets, and complex daily operations.

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree and experience in senior living, skilled nursing, hospital, or other healthcare environments.
