Job Summary:

 This is a working supervisor role, not an office job. Supports the Director of Plant Operations and the housekeeping team by providing solution-oriented, positive, exemplary customer service to all residents. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, overseeing the housekeeping department to ensure that the facility and resident condos are well maintained. Engage with residents and "empower every person to celebrate life at its best." Daily demonstrate our values of attitude, integrity and teamwork.

Primary Job Duties:

Responsible for housekeeping supervision ensuring the highest quality of customer service is available to our residents Assists the Director of Plant Operations in recruiting and hiring qualified housekeeping staff along with proper orientation and training Responsible for department staff schedules including the rotation of weekly cleaning of resident condos and daily cleaning of common areas Cleans resident condos including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, dusting, emptying trash, making beds and linen services Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of entire building Monitor public restrooms throughout the day for cleanliness and adequate supplies. Inventory of housekeeping supplies Maintain regulatory compliance where applicable. Other tasks as assigned

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience:

Excellent communication skills and compassion for older adults. Supervisory experience preferred.

Required Skills:

Supervisory and management abilities; team leader with interest in teaching others. Must have expertise in scheduling and cleaning management. Must have ability to work under pressure/time limits; good prioritizing and problem-solving skills. Must be able to maintain and utilize all cleaning equipment.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

Tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, bending, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-50 pounds). Tasks may involve extended periods of time standing (90%) or sitting (10%). Finger/hand dexterity to operate housekeeping equipment. Sarasota Bay Club is a Drug and Tobacco Free Campus.
