The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring that every room reflects the warmth, elegance, and attention to detail that defines Nora. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring every guestroom, suite, public area, and back-of-house space reflects the exceptional Nora standards. Through visible leadership. Attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality, the Housekeeping Supervisor coaches team members to consistently deliver immaculate accommodations and memorable guest experiences. This position serves as a role model for service excellence, maintaining LHW quality standards while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Primary Responsibilities Guest Experience Ensure every guestroom and public area is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort. Inspect assigned guestrooms, suites, and public spaces to verify compliance with Nora service standards. Ensure all VIP rooms, special requests, amenities, and guest preferences are completed accurately before arrival. Respond promptly and professionally to guest request and service recovery opportunities. Daily Operations Assign daily work to Room Attendants, Housepersons, and Public Area Attendants based on occupancy and operational needs. Monitor room status throughout the day to support efficient room availability. Ensure guestrooms are cleaned, inspected, and released on time. Assist with room cleaning and public area coverage during peak periods when needed. Coordinate with front Office, and Engineering to ensure seamless operations. Leadership & Team Development Lead by example through a visible, hands-on management style. Provide daily coaching, instruction, and recognition to team members. Train new employees on cleaning procedures, safety practices, luxury service standards and Nora expectations. Monitor employee productivity and work quality while promoting teamwork and accountability. Report attendance, performance concerns, and recognition opportunities to department leadership. Quality Assurance Conduct detailed room inspection using established quality standards. Ensue deficiencies are corrected immediately and provide real-time coaching. Monitor cleanliness scores, guest comments, and inspection results to identify improvement opportunities. Maintain consistent standards throughout all guest and employee areas. Inventory & Equipment Monitor housekeeping carts, closets, and linen inventories to ensure adequate supplies. Report equipment repairs and maintenance needs promptly. Promote proper care and handling of hotel equipment and supplies. Help minimize waste through responsible inventory management. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, hotel policies, and safe chemical handling procedures. Promote a safe and organized work environment. Ensure lost-and-found procedures are followed accurately. Report safety hazards and maintenance concerns immediately. Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years of housekeeping experience in an upscale or luxury hotel. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of luxury housekeeping standards and inspection procedures. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members. Working knowledge of hotel property management systems. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
