Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our cleaning and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction within our hospitality environment. This leadership role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a background in various cleaning disciplines to effectively manage staff and maintain exceptional service quality. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold cleanliness standards. Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations. Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor staff performance for productivity and quality assurance. Oversee floor care, industrial cleaning, janitorial tasks, and custodial responsibilities across the property. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; ensure proper usage and storage. Enforce safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment for all staff. Collaborate with management to address guest concerns related to cleanliness or service issues promptly. Ensure compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards at all times. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, floor care, janitorial work, or custodial services within a hospitality or industrial setting. Prior hotel experience or background in hospitality management is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with previous housekeeper management experience preferred. Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning methods. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to train and motivate staff while fostering a positive team environment. Good communication skills to interact professionally with staff and guests alike. Physical ability to perform cleaning duties and oversee operations across multiple areas of the property.
