In this vital role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations, and motivate your team to maintain a welcoming and hygienic environment for all guests. Your leadership will help create a memorable stay for visitors by ensuring that every room and public area meets the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and safety. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, including cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks. Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety regulations, and customer service expectations. Monitor cleaning quality to ensure compliance with sanitation standards and hotel policies. Schedule staff shifts efficiently to meet occupancy demands while maintaining optimal team performance. Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold cleanliness standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and custodial equipment to ensure smooth operations. Enforce safety protocols related to industrial cleaning, chemical handling, and equipment use to protect staff and guests. Requirements Proven experience in custodial work, commercial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management with a focus on supervision. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and safety regulations within a hospitality environment. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams in fast-paced settings. Excellent communication skills to effectively manage staff and interact with guests when needed. Ability to organize tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service. Familiarity with laundry operations and janitorial procedures is preferred.
