Housekeeping Manager Job Summary:
Nexus of Berwyn is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our team! As a Housekeeping Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, staff management, and inventory control Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure high-quality cleaning standards Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas Identify and correct any issues or problems that may arise, and implement solutions to prevent reoccurrence Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding promptly to their needs and concerns Collaborate with other departments, such as hospitality and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations Maintain accurate records and reports, including cleaning schedules, inventory, and staff performance Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations Develop and implement effective training programs for housekeeping staff Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication
Requirements:
2+ years of housekeeping management experience High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred Proven leadership and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to lift, bend, and move up to 50 pounds
