Aloft Bolingbrook is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team and help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Position Summary The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping department by supervising room attendants and public area attendants, conducting room inspections, ensuring cleanliness standards are met, and supporting a positive team environment. This role plays a vital part in delivering an exceptional guest experience while maintaining brand and company standards. Essential Responsibilities Supervise, coach, and motivate housekeeping staff to achieve daily goals. Assign daily work schedules and ensure efficient completion of guest rooms and public areas. Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are consistently met. Monitor inventory of housekeeping supplies and linens; report shortages as needed. Train new team members on hotel policies, cleaning procedures, and safety standards. Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, hotel policies, and OSHA safety regulations. Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns professionally. Coordinate with the Front Desk and Maintenance departments to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction. Assist with cleaning guest rooms and public areas when business demands require. Complete daily reports and communicate operational updates to hotel management. Qualifications Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel required. Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Must be able to stand, bend, lift up to 30 pounds, and work in a physically active environment. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as business needs require. We're an equal opportunity employer. Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
