Description Job Overview The Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor makes guests feel welcome and important by ensuring that guestrooms and common areas are clean, comfortable, well maintained and serviced according to company and AAA specifications. Duties And Responsibilities Projects a positive image Greets all guests and Team Members Actively coaches, mentors and develops team members Generates daily assignments for Team Members Performs property and guestroom inspections, documenting as required Checks and report room statuses as needed Inventories and orders departmental supplies Facilitates hotel lost-and-found Creates work schedules Administers payroll Acts as "Manager on duty" representing the hotel in resolving guest conflict Keeps staff informed of pertinent information Liaises with other departments as operational issues arise Ensures that an adequate number of vacant/clean/inspected rooms are available throughout the day Generates shift reports recording key hotel statistics and incidents Limits the number of accidents and injuries by promoting job safety Grants PTO and conducts Team Member evaluations Other duties & responsibilities as assigned Job Requirements (Please Ensure You Meet The Listed Requirements Prior To Applying) Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment Associate's Degree in Related field
- required OR Two (2) years' Supervisory experience
- required OR One (1) year experience as a Dual-Rate Supervisor in a Wind Creek Hospitality Department
- required OR Two (2) years' experience in the hiring position's Department
- required Two (2) years of experience in Hotel Housekeeping
- preferred Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Good writing and verbal communication skills required (skills test may be administered) Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environment Must be able to operate standard office equipment
