Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management within the hospitality or industrial cleaning sectors. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, providing a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Responsibilities
- Manage daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Supervise housekeeping staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement cleaning protocols and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Address any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department. Skills
- Proven experience in custodial services or hotel housekeeping management.
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care maintenance.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet the demands of the business.
