Inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair. Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniform including nametag, gloves and goggles. Train associates on safety standards and enforce those standards on a consistent basis. Identify associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately. Complete accident investigations and take steps to prevent future accidents. Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning. Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift. Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness. Perform opening and closing shift duties. Notifies GM and/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs necessary. Monitor cleanliness of hotel including parking lot and exterior entrances. Acts as Manager on Duty when required. Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary. Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectivesEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two (2) years in leadership Housekeeping position Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferredKNO WLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Basic computer skills Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members Excellent time management skills The hiring process may consist of a phone interview, manager(s) interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment.
