Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and experienced housekeeping supervisor professional to lead and support the housekeeping team in maintaining clean and welcoming guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, service-focused, and capable of managing day-to-day housekeeping operations. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are preferred.
Responsibilities:
Inspect guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with brand standards Lead daily housekeeping operations and conduct team shift meetings Supervise, train, and assist housekeeping staff as needed Ensure equipment (vacuums, carts, laundry machines) is maintained and functional Track and manage supplies, inventory, and guest loaned items (e.g., cribs, rollaway beds) Communicate with maintenance and front desk teams for efficient operations Maintain accurate records: checklists, inventory logs, training sheets, etc. Monitor safety and sanitation compliance; enforce key control and guest privacy policies Provide excellent customer service to guests and assist with issues professionally Perform additional duties as assigned by the
General Manager Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (required) 4+ years of Hotel housekeeping experience (required) 2+ years of IHG hotel experience (preferred) IHG training certifications (preferred) Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills Basic computer skills (for reports, inventory, and checklists) Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for long periods Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
