Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as an Assistant Executive Housekeeper, where your leadership and expertise will elevate the standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and guest satisfaction. In this vital role, you will assist in managing daily housekeeping operations, supervising staff, and ensuring that all areas meet the highest quality standards. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment that exceeds guest expectations and maintains impeccable hygiene and safety standards. Duties Assist the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing all housekeeping functions across the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas. Supervise and motivate housekeeping staff, providing clear guidance on cleaning procedures, safety regulations, and sanitation protocols. Coordinate daily staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage for industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, laundry services, and custodial tasks. Monitor cleaning and sanitation management processes to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards. Conduct regular inspections of work areas to maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to quality benchmarks. Train team members on proper use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures to promote a safe working environment. Support management in implementing new cleaning techniques, managing supplies inventory, and maintaining budget efficiency. Skills Proven experience in custodial work, industrial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management with a strong focus on sanitation and safety regulations. Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering teamwork and high performance. Excellent managerial communication skills to coordinate tasks clearly and motivate team members. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to address guest needs professionally and promptly. Knowledge of janitorial practices, laundry operations, and commercial cleaning techniques. Leadership qualities with experience in team supervision and management roles within a hospitality or custodial setting. Familiarity with management of cleaning & sanitation processes, safety protocols, and janitorial equipment maintenance.
