Job Description
True North Hotel Group, an award-winning management and development company, is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to join our team at Holiday Inn Express in Hays, KS. We offer awesome benefits and a great family culture.
RESPONSIBILITIESInspect guest rooms, public and pool areas after being cleaned by housekeeping staff to ensure quality standards.
Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning and update status of departing guest rooms.
Inventory of supply closets.
Assist with monthly linen order.
Walk all vacant ready rooms daily.
Performs room attendant duties and responsibilities when necessary.
Go into checkout rooms still in house daily at 12 noon following Huddle.
Act as a liaison to coordinate efforts of housekeeping, engineering, front office, and laundry.
Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the front desk.
Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in assignment sheets/work boards.
Communicate issues to next shift.
Complete required paperwork in a timely manager.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
Complete safety training and certifications.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.

QUALIFICATIONS
