HOTEL EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER
About the Role The Executive Housekeeper leads the housekeeping and laundry departments to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and backofhouse spaces consistently meet Hotel brand cleanliness and presentation standards. This leader plays a critical role in guest satisfaction, team development, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including room assignments, inspections, laundry production, and public area cleanliness. Recruit, train, coach, and develop housekeeping team members to maintain high performance and service standards. Prepare staffing schedules based on occupancy forecasts and labor guidelines. Conduct regular room and public area inspections to ensure compliance with Hyatt brand standards. Manage inventory levels for linens, supplies, chemicals, and equipment; place orders as needed. Maintain accurate records for payroll, scheduling, performance evaluations, and departmental reporting. Partner with the General Manager and Maintenance team to address room readiness, deficiencies, and preventive maintenance needs. Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns related to cleanliness or room condition. Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and OSHA regulations. Support propertywide initiatives, including renovation readiness, brand audits, and guest satisfaction goals. Qualifications 3-5+ years of housekeeping leadership experience in a hotel environment; Hyatt or selectservice experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and teambuilding skills. Proven ability to manage budgets, inventory, and labor controls. High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand standards. Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with changing priorities. Proficiency with housekeeping systems, scheduling tools, and basic computer applications. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs throughout the shift. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
