The role for this position is to oversee and supervise the housekeeping department following CMS, state and facility standards in maintaining a clean environment. This is also a working supervisory position. Long-term care experience required.
FULL-TIME
Pay based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Working supervision of the housekeeping department. Follows CMS guidelines in maintaining the facility environment Interview, hire, train and maintain proper staffing Follows safety standards, manufacturer's instructions and manufacturer's recommendations when performing tasks Inspects facility cleanliness on a daily basis Reports any maintenance and repair issues identified Cleans and properly stores equipment and supplies Follows proper infection control and standard precautions when performing tasks Creates of culture of caring and compassionate customer service Recognizes and honors Resident rights
Requirements:
Experience in working in a long-term care facility required Excellent customer service skills Commitment to excellence and attention to detail Ability to safely and effectively perform the functions of the job by adhering to the policies of the facility Excellent benefit package for full-time employees.
