Lead Housekeeper (Full-Time) Gardner Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a dependable, experienced, and motivated Lead Housekeeper to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while leading a housekeeping team and assisting with basic facility upkeep. We're looking for a hands-on leader who is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to creating a positive experience for our residents, visitors, and staff. Schedule Full-Time (40 hours per week) Every other weekend required Holiday rotation as needed Responsibilities Lead, coach, and support the housekeeping team in daily operations. Assign and monitor daily cleaning schedules to ensure work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Perform routine inspections of resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces. Assist with daily housekeeping duties as needed. Maintain housekeeping supply inventory and communicate ordering needs. Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and OSHA regulations. Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff. Perform minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, changing ceiling tiles, assembling small equipment or furniture, unclogging drains, and reporting larger repairs to the maintenance department. Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Director to identify and address facility needs promptly. Qualifications Previous housekeeping experience required. Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred. Experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, healthcare, or long-term care setting is strongly preferred. Basic maintenance or handyman experience preferred. Ability to safely use basic hand tools and perform minor repairs. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Dependable, professional, and committed to providing excellent service. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position.
