Job Description
Executive Housekeeper (EH) Fort George G. Meade, MD | Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD | Fort Detrick, MD Job Overview MBM Inc. is seeking an experienced and credentialed Executive Housekeeper (EH) to serve as the senior on-site project manager for our Healthcare Environmental Cleaning (HEC) operations at: Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center (KACC) Kirk Army Health Clinic (KAHC) Barquist Army Health Clinic (BAHC) The EH is the top project management position for this task order and is responsible for oversight, compliance, and performance across all three locations. Two Assistant Executive Housekeepers (AEH) — one at Aberdeen Proving Ground and one at Fort Detrick — along with a second-shift AEH at Fort Meade, report directly to the EH. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering safe, compliant, and efficient cleaning services that support infection control and patient well-being across all three facilities. Duties
- Serve as the senior on-site leader and single point of contact for HEC services across all three MTFs, directing the AEHs at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Fort Detrick, and the Fort Meade second shift
- Oversee daily HEC operations, staffing, scheduling, and quality control across all designated buildings at each performance location
- Supervise, train, and schedule EVS Technicians (Housekeepers and Floor Technicians) directly and through subordinate AEHs
- Ensure full compliance with the DHA HEC Performance Work Statement, OSHA, AHE Practice Guidance, and infection control standards across Service Levels I-VI
- Execute the Quality Control Plan (QCP); conduct and document routine inspections, ATP/gel-marker testing coordination, and corrective action plans
- Manage inventory, supply and equipment provisioning, and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) documentation across all three locations
- Coordinate directly with the Task Order Contracting Officer's Representative (TOCOR), Task Order Contracting Officer (TOCO), and on-site military leadership at each facility
- Oversee onboarding, training, and credentialing (CAC, MTF badging, AT Level I, iWatch, OPSEC) of all site staff
- Prepare and submit required contract deliverables — staffing models, worker schedules, inspection reports, training records, and person-hour reports — per the PWS
- Lead the 45-day Transition-In process, including GFP inventory, staffing stand-up, and coordination with the outgoing incumbent
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for all operational matters across the task order Requirements
- Experience managing environmental services in a medical facility (DoD or equivalent civilian); multi-site oversight experience preferred
- CESE (Certified/Registered Environmental Services Executive) or CHESP (Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional) certification — see note below
- Strong knowledge of hospital/clinic cleaning protocols, infection control, and DoD healthcare environmental cleaning standards
- Demonstrated leadership managing subordinate supervisors (AEHs) across multiple locations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills; comfortable interfacing with military leadership and government representatives
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must be able to pass a federal background check and obtain/maintain installation access at all three DoD installations
- Willingness and ability to travel among Fort Meade, Aberdeen Proving Ground, and Fort Detrick as needed Schedule Full-time.
