Job Description

Responsibilities Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments. Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies; and issues supplies and equipment to staff. Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation. Examines building to determine the need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment and makes recommendations to management. Responsible for courteous, efficient response at all times. Establishes standards and procedures for the work of housekeeping staff. Records data regarding work assignments, personnel actions, and timecards, and prepares periodic reports. Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and takes corrective action. Perform other duties as requested by ownership and management.
Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
Must be able to frequently:
bend, stoop, kneel, and stand through shift. Schedule flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation. Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel needs. Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings. Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive guest and colleague information. The anticipated pay range for this position is $24.00-$26.00/hr. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
