About the Role We are looking for a Housekeeping Inspector 2 days a week that will also work as a housekeeper 3 days a week to join our hotel team and help ensure every guest room meets our high standards for cleanliness, presentation, and guest readiness. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining exceptional hotel standards. In this role, you will inspect guest rooms and public areas, provide feedback to housekeeping staff, and work closely with the housekeeping leadership team to ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience. What You'll Do Inspect guest rooms after cleaning to ensure they meet hotel cleanliness and presentation standards 2 days a week Clean rooms 3 days a week as a housekeeper Check bathrooms, bedrooms, floors, furniture, linens, amenities, and overall room condition. Identify maintenance issues, damages, missing items, or other concerns and report them appropriately. Provide constructive feedback and direction to Room Attendants and housekeeping staff. Ensure rooms are properly stocked and prepared for arriving guests. Monitor housekeeping quality and identify areas for improvement. Communicate room status and inspection results with the Front Desk and Housekeeping leadership. Assist with training team members on proper cleaning and room presentation standards. Inspect public areas and other assigned areas as needed. Help ensure compliance with hotel safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while supporting the housekeeping team. What We're Looking For Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred. Previous inspection, lead, or supervisory experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to identify cleanliness issues that may be overlooked by others. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Reliable, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout the hotel for extended periods. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules as needed.
