Holiday Inn Express Kalamazoo West is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee and lead our housekeeping team in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, hotel management, and custodial services.

Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and policies] Train new employees on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs and requests promptly Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed Handle guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services

Experience:

Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality or hotel industry Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices, floor care techniques, and sanitation standards, preferably previous hotel experience Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team Excellent communication and organizational abilities Familiarity with various cleaning products and equipment This position offers competitive compensation along with opportunities for professional growth within our organization.
