PRIVATE ESTATE HOUSEKEEPER
Position Summary We are seeking a highly detail-oriented, trustworthy, and experienced Private Household Manager to perform the daily care, cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of a large, high-end private residence. This position is ideal for someone who takes exceptional pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail, understands the proper care of fine furnishings and valuable belongings, and is comfortable working for an individual with very high standards. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, discreet, dependable, and proactive. This person should understand that the details matter and be able to maintain the home to an exceptionally high standard without constant supervision. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed cleaning and light maintenance of the entire residence. Properly care for fine furnishings, artwork, antiques, luxury finishes, appliances, and other high-value belongings. Maintain the home in a consistently immaculate, organized, and guest-ready condition. Manage household organization, including closets, storage areas, pantries, linens, and supplies. Monitor household inventory and purchase or coordinate replenishment of cleaning products, household necessities, and other supplies. Coordinate and oversee outside vendors, contractors, landscapers, maintenance personnel, and specialty service providers as needed. Identify maintenance issues or potential problems before they become larger concerns. Laundry, ironing, wardrobe care, and specialty cleaning is imperative. Prepare the home for guests, special occasions, events, or extended stays. Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality regarding the household, its residents, guests, and personal affairs. Handle household items and belongings with exceptional care and attention. Establish and maintain systems to ensure the home remains organized and efficiently managed. Perform other household management duties as requested. Qualifications Previous experience in private household management, luxury housekeeping, estate management, hospitality, or a similar role. Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to high standards. Experience caring for high-end furnishings, luxury finishes, artwork, antiques, or other valuable items preferred. Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Trustworthy, discreet, and professional. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage the needs of a large residence. Must take pride in maintaining a beautiful, immaculate, and well-organized home. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
