Days Inn Port Huron is a newly renovated hotel looking for qualified candidates to be part of our team providing excellent customer service. We are interested in hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor who will be responsible for supervising the housekeeping and laundry team and ensuring the efficient and thorough cleaning of guest rooms and hotel areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and housekeeping skills with great attention to detail. Duties performed are below. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of housekeepers and laundry attendants. Assign rooms and daily duties to housekeeping staff and ensure all assigned work is completed on time. Inspect guest rooms after cleaning to ensure they meet hotel cleanliness and quality standards. Ensure housekeeping carts, linen rooms, laundry areas, and work areas are properly stocked, organized, and well maintained. Report and follow up on any maintenance issues found in guest rooms or hotel areas. Report any damage to a room done by a guest to management. Monitor inventory of housekeeping supplies such as linens, towels, soap, shampoo, cleaning products, and other supplies. Train and assist housekeeping employees to ensure proper cleaning procedures and hotel standards are followed. Monitor employee attendance, performance, and productivity. Coordinate with the front desk to ensure clean rooms are available for arriving guests. Come to work appropriately dressed in uniform including name tag and ready to provide excellent customer service while performing your assigned duties. Professionally and effectively communicate with guests, housekeeping staff, front desk associates, maintenance, and management. Report any suspicious behavior or safety concerns that you observe to management. Assist with cleaning guest rooms and laundry when needed. Complete any and all additional tasks assigned by management. Follow all company policies and procedures.
