Job Description
Job Summary The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay for all guests. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff. Allocate rooms and tasks to room attendants and housekeeping associates. Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and other assigned areas. Ensure rooms are cleaned and prepared according to hotel standards. Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance issues and report them promptly. Train and guide housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and service standards. Manage housekeeping supplies, linen, amenities, and equipment. Coordinate with the Front Office regarding room status, check-ins, check-outs, and special guest requirements. Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping and ensure timely resolution. Maintain housekeeping records, checklists, and daily reports. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards. Support the Executive Housekeeper/Housekeeping Manager with daily operations and staff scheduling.
