A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER

As a Executive Housekeeping Manager, you are essential to creating an inviting atmosphere for our members. A leader at heart, you train and motivate our housekeepers to be the best they can be. You are available as a first resource to all housekeepers when they need assistance. You plan and conduct housekeeping meetings on a regular basis to keep everyone up to date. You confirm all unoccupied rooms are available to sell by communicating with housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk. With this knowledge, you use plans set in place to minimize room vacancies. You are proud to represent our company at every opportunity and love knowing what a valuable part you play in our success! You also assist the general manager in the overall management of the hotel as a working supervisor. You coordinate communication between housekeeping and the front desk. Through these duties and more, you ensure a smooth-running operation that keeps our guests comfortable. You never cut corners but clean as if you were going to stay there yourself. With attention to detail, you dust and disinfect surfaces as well as polish glass windows and mirrors. You vacuum, sweep, mop, empty wastebaskets, and change linens. You understand and apply all hotel safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for everyone. At the end of each shift, you leave with a sense of accomplishment, knowing you've helped create a pleasant experience for our guests!
