Housekeeping Supervisor
The normal shift is five hours per night, five nights a week, but can change per the hospital's needs. Must be flexible and able to work weekends if necessary.
These are the main duties of this job. However, some aspects of the job may overlap into another. For example, in some buildings the supervisor may mop all restroom floors rather than this being done by the restroom cleaner. The duties and responsibilities of this job may be changed and/or additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time, at the Company's discretion. The Company's policy requiring regular attendance at work also applies to this job position. This job description will be reviewed periodically by the Company and may be revised at the Company's discretion.

Responsible for assisting Hospital Management Leaders in directing and overseeing the operational needs of the Housekeeping Department. This includes coordinating the tasks of front-line staff, conducting inspections, and serving as a liaison between adminstration and hospital departments to provide the highest possible level of service.Perferred Qualifications:
At least one year of experience managing housekeeping staff in a hospital healthcare setting.Job Duties:
Reviews/surveys floors to inspect work and quality cleaning. Performs any task missed by employees under their direction. Arranges to have positions covered for those employees who are absent or for vacant positions. The supervisor is responsible for the janitorial work in an assigned area. The supervisor must direct the work of the existing crew, and train any new employees so that the work is done properly and completely each night. The supervisor inspects his/her floors each night.
