Responsibilities Supervise daily housekeeping and laundry activities to ensure adherence to cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards. Coordinate staff schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to maintain optimal operational efficiency. Implement cleaning protocols for various environments, including industrial and commercial cleaning requirements. Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation practices to uphold regulatory compliance. Oversee inventory management for cleaning supplies, laundry detergents, equipment maintenance, and safety equipment. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, laundry facilities, and other designated spaces to ensure quality standards are met. Enforce safety regulations to prevent accidents or hazards during cleaning operations; promote a safe working environment. Collaborate with management to develop improvement strategies for housekeeping processes and customer service delivery. Skills Proven experience in custodial work with a focus on cleaning and sanitation management. Strong supervisory skills with demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in fast-paced settings. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning standards, and laundry operations within hospitality or institutional environments. Excellent communication skills for managerial interactions with staff, vendors, and guests. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and high performance among staff members. Familiarity with safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and workplace hazards. Ability to manage inventory efficiently while ensuring cost-effective use of supplies.
