Essential Qualifications:

Responsible for the overall management and operation of housekeeping/laundry department including budget control, staffing, cleaning, sanitation, equipment maintenance and operation Ensures the nursing facility is clean and in a sanitary condition to provide for the welfare and care of the residents in a healthful environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

Prior work experience in environmental services is preferred Ability to lead a team, including hiring and training staff. High school diploma or equivalent. Provide patience and compassion when working with residents and family members. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and team members. Strong attention to detail. Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations. A desire and commitment to working with the elderly.
