Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management, with a focus on delivering exceptional service in a hotel or similar environment. This role requires an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards. Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote efficiency and effectiveness in their roles. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for all areas, including guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house facilities. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels. Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and enhance the overall guest experience. Maintain records related to housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, supply orders, and inspection reports. Requirements Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry or similar environment. Strong knowledge of custodial practices, floor care techniques, and industrial cleaning methods. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and guests professionally. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
