Housekeeping Supervisor for Luxury Airbnbs Lagom Homes Cary, NC Job Details Part-time $20 an hour 23 hours ago Qualifications Spanish Resort experience English Staff training Quality inspection Full Job Description Lagom Homes is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee scheduling, training and training housekeeping staff, cleaning quality, supplies, and day-to-day housekeeping operations across our luxury furnished rental properties in Raleigh, Durham, and West Cary. This role is ideal for someone with a strong hotel housekeeping background who is highly organized, hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable holding cleaners accountable to consistent standards. Responsibilities Supervise and manage housekeeping operations across multiple furnished rental homes. Create and manage cleaner schedules for all turnovers, deep cleans, inspections, and special projects. Inspect properties after cleanings and ensure every home meets established cleanliness and presentation standards. Enforce detailed cleaning procedures, checklists, and quality-control standards. Identify recurring cleaning issues and retrain or correct staff as needed. Maintain organized linen closets, housekeeping supplies, guest amenities, and cleaning supplies at each property. Keep an accurate general inventory of linens, towels, bedding, supplies, and guest amenities, and flag when items need to be replenished or replaced. Coordinate laundry operations and ensure clean linens are available for every turnover. Identify damaged, stained, worn, or missing items and communicate replacement needs to management. Inspect for property damage, maintenance issues, missing items, and guest-related problems during turnovers and report them promptly with photos. Coordinate with maintenance vendors, cleaners, and management when issues need attention. Manage cleaning supplies and guest amenities and help keep purchasing organized and cost-conscious. Conduct periodic property and supply checks to make sure homes remain properly stocked. Help improve housekeeping systems and operating procedures as the portfolio grows. What We're Looking For Significant housekeeping management or supervisory experience, ideally in a hotel, resort, luxury hospitality, or professionally managed vacation-rental environment . Experience managing and training housekeeping teams. Strong understanding of housekeeping operations, laundry, supplies, and inventory. Extremely high standards for cleanliness and property presentation. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Ability to notice small details and identify inconsistencies quickly. Comfortable giving cleaners direct feedback and enforcing standards. Good judgment about when items need to be cleaned, repaired, replaced, or reordered. Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently. Comfortable using photos, checklists, messaging apps, and property-management systems to document work. English required; Spanish is a strong plus.
