Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and manage our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of cleaning standards, and experience in hospitality or janitorial services. This role is vital in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall guest satisfaction within our facility. The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee daily operations, coordinate cleaning activities, and maintain high-quality standards across all areas. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards Schedule staff shifts and assign tasks based on occupancy levels and operational needs Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures and equipment use Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels Implement and maintain effective floor care routines including carpet cleaning, waxing, polishing, and other specialized cleaning tasks Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special projects or deep-cleaning initiatives Experience Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hotel, hospitality, or janitorial environment Strong background in cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning, and custodial services Familiarity with hotel operations and hospitality standards is highly desirable Experience supervising teams, training staff, and managing schedules effectively Knowledge of safety procedures related to janitorial equipment and chemical handling is preferred Demonstrated ability to lead a team with excellent communication skills and attention to detail This role offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a dynamic housekeeping team while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
